Week 20: Western Michigan Broncos
WHO:
The Western Michigan Broncos are CHW's Team of the Week for Week 20.

WHY:
The Broncos took 5 of 6 points from CCHA Regular Season Champion Ferris State to catapult the Broncos up into a tie for 2nd place in the conference.  The Broncos won a shootout following a 1-1 draw in Kalamazoo on Friday.  On Saturday, Western used two Danny DeKeyser goals to drop the Bulldogs 3-0.  The win and tie also moved the Broncos to within striking distance in the Pairwise.

WHAT'S NEXT:
The Broncos have the weekend off before hosting a CCHA Playoff series the following weekend.
Honorable Mention

Minnesota Golden Gophers
The Minnesota Golden Gophers went on the road to Omaha, and swept the Mavericks in WCHA action this weekend.  The sweep kept the Gophers two points ahead of rival Minnesota Duluth in the race for the Conference Championship.  The Gophers won each game 3-2, including an overtime thriller on Friday.

Merrimack Warriors
Merrimack needed a big weekend following their disappointing results against BC.  The Warriors did just that, as they took 3 of 4 points from Massachusetts Lowell to climb back to within 1 point of the top 4 in the Hockey East Standings, and also moved themselves back into the top 15 of the Pairwise rankings.
